"Crystal and I met Halley at the Annie Walk in 2008. Crystal was having difficulty with a back injury she had since she was 4 years old. After Halley began giving Crystal massages, her back pain lessened and she became more active, able to do agility and chase frisbees again. Now when people ask how old she is, and I reply 9 years old going on 10, they don’t believe me because she acts and responds more like a 5 or 6 year old. Good work Halley! " A very special lady with gentle and caring hands came into Maeci's life at just the right time. At first Maeci was apprehensive about a stranger touching her, but that was short lived. By Halley's second visit, Maeci had it figured out...she liked this nice lady very much and she felt so food after her visits.
For the final two years of Maeci's life the massages were such a highlight. She would sit on Halley's lap, and relax into a very peaceful place as Halley's gentle hands massaged all those places that hurt. Maeci and I formed a special bond because of Halley's compassionate and comforting ways. She helped me transition with Maeci as her final month approached.
I know in my heart that Halley's presence in sweet Maeci's life extended her longevity. I wish I had more years with my Maeci, but the Rainbow Bridge called last March (2009) and she is their with her friends. Now as my 3 year old rambunctious Chiweenie ages, I know I will once again call upon a special lady, with her magical gentle hands, soul and sprit.
She touched my life and my sweet little Maeci girl in so many ways."
